How to find the IMG Path for Configuration of a Particular Field in SAP?

 Introduction

It is very useful to know which is the Configuration Path of a Particular Field in SAP. This helps you in finding the exact configuration Location to do the Configuration of any particular Field which is configured by SAP as a Config item.

Solution

In this blog we will show how to find the Configuration path for Purchasing Group in Purchase Order Screen. We go to Transaction Code ME23N. Follow the below path and click on F1 after Selecting the Purchasing group Field in Org Data tab of Header

Now Click on Customizing. If this icon is disabled then it is not a Configuration Item in SAP.

Select the below option

Wala here we got all the Configuration Item where Purchasing Group is used.

Now select Purchasing option below and select the Green Arrow Button

Below is the IMG path and now we Execute

Here is the view where you can create the Purchasing Group.

Conclusion

This solution can be used in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
