Shortcuts to SAP Customizing

When looking at a data field in SAP, it is sometimes useful to know how to get directly to the customizing for that field.

This is nice and simple. Position your cursor on the field in question and hit the F1 key. This opens up the Performance Assistance box, from where you can click on the Customizing button, as highlighted in the screenshot below.

Select “Continue without specifying project” from the next pop-up box and you will be shown a customizing menu as below.

From here, you can navigate directly to the customizing menu path for the object in question.
